It’s in the Vanity

The average person can spend up to 30 minutes getting ready in their bathroom every morning. By the end of the year, that adds up to around 137 hours—and that’s just for the morning! With all that time spent in one room, it needs to be inviting and easy to manage. After all, nobody wants to spend time in a dark, dingy dungeon. Remodeling can help improve the function of bathrooms in a home. From the master to a half bath, time is spent in all, so they deserve a little love now and then!

One part of the remodel process is updating the vanity or vanities.  Vanities don’t just hold sinks; they are where you brush your teeth, wash your face, do your hair, wash your hands, make faces at yourself, and possibly even do your makeup.  A good chunk of your bathroom time is spent in front of a vanity. So how can you improve your experience there?  A trend that has been increasingly popular is the use of furniture style vanities.

Furniture style vanities give the bathroom a unique look, allowing you to bring your own style into any type of bathroom. Instead of having the normal box look, you are able to have on offset style, round style, or even both! There are a variety of options when taking this route, which is nice when you are trying to bring your vision to life. Style variety allows the bathroom become its own creative, inviting space.

While I’m talking about functionality, there is the option to have a wall hung vanity as well.  This option is perfect for when there is limited space in the bath, like in a half bath. Hanging vanities create useable space underneath, and a clean, tidy presentation. They are a great option for minimalist designs.  Corner vanities are also a great way to save space. These help keep the walls open for other uses.

I really like that these vanities also come with matching mirrors.  It saves you the hassle of going store to store to find the perfect mirror that matches the vanity.  If you want to boost the appearance and functionality of your bathroom, consider a unique style vanity like these for your next remodel
