Aluminum Wire SEU- Three Conductor Service Entrance Cable
Type SE, Style U. 600 Volt service entrance cable is used to convey power from the service drop to the meter base and from the meter base to the distribution panel board. It may also be used for certain branch circuits as permitted by the National Electrical Code. SEU phase conductors are suitable for use at temperatures not to exceed 90??C in wet or dry locations. Type SE, Style U cable is constructed with Type XHHW-2 conductors. Aluminum XHHW-2 conductors are TRIPLE E AA-8000 series aluminum alloy compact stranded. Cable assembly plus a concentrically applied neutral and reinforcement tape are jacketed with a grey sunlight resistant polyvinyl chloride (PVC).
